The area offers medieval towns, wine and food experiences, hiking trails, lakes, caves and historic fortresses – as well as plenty of opportunities for relaxation and adventure.
The views and many hiking opportunities are an added bonus of the property. In the nearest village you’ll find a small bar/grocery store, at the foot of the hill is a pizzeria and a train station – just 4 km away.
Just 15 km away is Barga, a beautiful medieval town with impressive architecture, steep narrow streets, the magnificent cathedral, cozy restaurants, Saturday market and a rich variety of music events.
10 km to the north you’ll find the lively commercial town of Castelnuovo, famous for its large market every Thursday morning.

Also nearby is the Buffardello Adventure Park with climbing and zip lines for all ages, as well as picnics and barbecues in the pleasant shade of the forest.
